Throughout the different Covid-19 alert levels, many bars and restaurants throughout NZ were looking for other alternatives to the way they operate. It was a challenging time and they want to continue to keep in touch with their clients and provide a service to the local market by giving customers something new and delicious to have at home. This was especially welcome for those people who were over home-cooked meals and needed a break!
The Phat Duck Brew Bar & Kitchen in Ashburton was one of those businesses. When they reached out to RHM for a quick and affordable solution to help provide online orders, we responded quickly. We setup and designed their current website into a fully integrated e-commerce site. Within days, we were able to get an online ordering platform working and allowed the business to carry on and provide great takeaways and delivered meal options. After everything was set up and going, The Phat Duck made over $1000 worth of new orders and deliveries in the first week alone. This was a great return on their investment and a fantastic service to the local community.
