At Right Hand Man, we really enjoy it when a client comes to us with an exciting product to be launched into the market. Often, with new products, clients have a fantastic idea, and a working prototype but they have no branding. That’s where we step in.
Tim and Kathy Strickland of Markon have been clients of Right Hand Man for several years. In that time the team at Markon have been developing products for the bathing and plumbing markets. This includes an innovative waste trap that will replace traditional P- and S-traps and save space under bathroom vanities and kitchen sinks. Markon knew the difference this would make for end-users and was dedicated to having the product BRANZ-appraised and ready to market.
Right Hand Man started with a Business Positioning workshop to highlight what makes Markon unique. We branded the product with a funky, memorable name – Spacemate™.
We then developed the logo and built a modern, functional website and created a whiteboard video for the purposes of selling the product to plumbers.
Right Hand Man played a pivotal role in setting up a partnership with a key bathroom cabinet manufacturer. We also have a relationship with Plumbing World and our next steps will be to work closely with them and other key retailers to get Spacemate™ in front of plumbers and onto the plumbing retailers’ shelves.
Overall, we love working with Tim and Kathy and we’re excited about the success of Spacemate™, as well as the other exciting products coming from Markon!
