Affordable Garage Carpet specialise in installing synthetic fibre carpets in garages. The owners came to us in April 2018 and we completed their Business Positioning. From this, we undertook several marketing tasks, including digital marketing and content writing for website.
Fast forward to July 2019, and during a catch-up with the owners we discovered Affordable Garage Carpet was running a radio campaign in Auckland and Christchurch on More FM and The Rock. The existing campaign was using 15-second spots with a message based solely on price. We knew we could do better by running longer 30-second spots, addressing key benefits of carpeting your garage and harnessing radio’s strength of ‘Theatre of the Mind’.
We developed a campaign based around “your garage is an under-utilised room”. Scheduled to run across August, September and October 2019, the campaign very quickly resulted in a spike in customer enquiries and an increase in sales. The campaign, with updated commercials using the same creative theme, continues to run in 2020.
